A teenage boy who was reportedly forced to leave school on Monday said online he has returned to school again and thanked the people who paid attention to his case, cnr.cn reported on Tuesday.
Yang Hui, from Zhangjiachuan county, Tianshui, Gansu province, said in his micro blog on Tuesday that he had returned to school and his leaving had nothing to do with the school leaders or teachers. He also thanked netizens for their concern.
The 16-year-old drew attention nationwide after being detained by police on Sept 17 after he questioned online a case in which a man's death was considered an accident by police. On Sept 23, Yang was released and the director of the county's public security bureau was dismissed because of Yang's detention.
