Deshi Center School in Panzhihua city, Sichuan province has asked people to stop sending clothes for the clothes are way too many for students to wear, Southwest China Metropolis Daily reported.
A blog appealing for clothing donations in 2007 to Deshi Center School was spreading online. The blog has received many responses and has then been reposted multiple times. The school receives more than 70 donation packages every week and has more than 6,000 articles of clothing piling up 3 meters high in a 100 square meter office
The school wants to send the clothing to other people in need but the transportation expenses are too high for them.
