HK smart products showcased at Jinan

More than 200 Hong Kong-based enterprises in the service sector showcased their creative ideas and products at the Smart HK exposition in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, from May 27 to 28.
"The exposition aims to build a platform for enterprises from HK and Shandong to seek win-win cooperation," said Margaret Fong, the executive director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) said at the exposition.
Fong said promoted by the national development strategy, Shandong is optimizing its economic structure by upgrading the traditional industry, cultivating emerging industry and boosting the service industry. Meanwhile, HK is a world-famous center of a wide range of service sectors like finance and logistics. "HK and Shandong are highly complementary, indicating there is huge potential for win-win cooperation," said Fong.
Fong hopes HK enterprises seize the opportunities offered by the Belt and Road Initiative and seek for more cooperation with Shandong enterprises in the sectors of infrastructure and real estate.
The two-day exposition features a CEO forum and 14 seminars. It focuses on the three aspects of innovative design and marketing, technological advancement and management upgrading.
