The Forgotten Room, by Lincoln Child
In this book, professor Jeremy Logan tackles another baffling case that might be his last. Lincoln Child, of the writing duo Preston & Child, has written several outstanding thrillers featuring Logan, who specializes in analyzing and solving possible supernatural mysteries. This time, Logan is sent to investigate the suicide of one of the doctors of a prestigious think tank.
Evidence shows the doctor who killed himself discovered a hidden room. Now others in the think tank are starting to exhibit strange symptoms, and Logan has begun to hear voices. Child has written a fun and intriguing novel that reflects the best of the "mad scientist and locked room" mysteries of the early 20th century.
