At his current solo exhibition in Macao, monk and painter Shi Dachan converses with nature and the world of Zen through his ink paintings and calligraphic pieces.

The exhibition at the Lotus Art Gallery reviews how the Buddhist artist, in his late 30s, first converted to the ink art in his teens and a dozen years later, to Buddhism. By combining the practices of art and religion, he has become more aware of the ways to co-exist with one's surroundings in harmony.
