Monk artist brings spirit, flowers to Macao

The exhibition at the Lotus Art Gallery reviews how the Buddhist artist, in his late 30s, first converted to the ink art in his teens and a dozen years later, to Buddhism. By combining the practices of art and religion, he has become more aware of the ways to co-exist with one's surroundings in harmony.

He has found particular power in lotus, and he paints the flowers in his works.
Born in Hebei province, he resides at a temple deep in the mountains in Anhui province.
The exhibition runs until May 5.
