Once upon a time, an ancient Chinese businessman surnamed Xin ran a small wine shop in Wuhan. He treated a poor guest to a drink every day and never asked for money.

One day half a year later, the poor man used orange peels to draw a crane on the wall. The amazing crane would dance if people applauded, which attracted more and more guests to Xin’s wine shop. And the business man named his shop Yellow Crane Tower.

This is the fairy tale about the famous Yellow Crane Tower that is located on the top of Wuchang Sheshan Mountain.

A German version of this story was created and published in Münster, Germany, on Dec 16.

The book was translated and rewritten by Heyse Marko and Chinese scholar Zhou Jun based on the original tale and reading habits of German children.
