Chinese actress Fan Bingbing will have an opportunity to display her acting range this year. She will soon leave for Los Angeles to feature in the new installment of X-Men as Blink.

Fan has finished the filming of a remake of the 1993 classic kung fu drama The Bride with White Hair, with actor Huang Xiaoming. The original film features Leslie Cheung and Bridgette Lin, two superstars of Chinese-language film.

Fan plays a martial artist whose hair turns white overnight after her lover cheats on her. The film will be released this winter.
