The film A Wedding Invitation, a low-budget romance, has been released on DMAX, China's own giant screens.
The film follows the ups and downs of two people who dated as students, in the 10 years after their graduation. It stars Taiwan pop icon Eddie Peng and rising mainland actress Bai Baihe, who played the lead in Love is not Blind, the most profitable movie in the Chinese film market last year.
The film has been available on regular screens and DMAX, the domestically made giant screens in select theaters, since April 12.
