American pop group Backstreet Boys are coming back to China, and will perform in Beijing as the part of their Asia tour on May 25, 2013.

The Backstreet Boys brought music hits to the world‘s pop music scene for two decades, and left behind many classic tunes and unforgettable memories for their legions of fans.

To date, the group has sold more than 38 million records in the US alone, and more than 90 million worldwide.

The theme of this year's tour is "appreciation". In order to give fans a perfect and memorable concert, band members decided to let their fans choose which songs would be sung through a polling process on their official website. All selected songs will be performed during the concert.

Kevin Richardson, who returned to the band after 7 years of flying solo, said the members have all had their shares of ups and downs since the formation of the band 20 year ago.

"Two decades later, we have gone around the world and visited many places. We are honored to have shared the stories of our lives with our fans," Richardson said.

The band will also perform in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu after their stop in Beijing.
