Q+A
If you could talk to a former great in your industry, who would you choose and why?
I would say Dazai Osamu. I want to spend an afternoon with him, drinking tea, looking at him and talking to him about anything - just thinking about that already fascinates me. (Osamu was a Japanese writer who frequently wrote about self-destruction and outcasts. He attempted suicide five times and succeeded in 1948, when he was 39.)
Of what are you proudest?
How hardworking I am.
What would you do if you weren't a director?
Actually my next big plan is to design, clothes and interior decoration.
If you could change one thing about your looks or character, what would it be?
My height. Although it does not bother me that much now, but if I could be 1.8 meters tall, why not? My mother saw jokes about my height online. She feels sorry and apologized to me, which made me very sad, but I always comfort her it is no big deal, and we have many other things.
What do you appreciate most in a man?
First of all, kindness. Then innocence and diligence.
