Chinese film director Jiang Wen has invited two other Chinese actors, namely Wen Zhang and Wang Zhiwen, to star alongside Ge You in his new film "Gone with the Bullets," Jiang's company announced on Wednesday.
Wen is supposed to play opposite Chinese actor Ge You, who won the Best Actor Award at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival for his role in Zhang Yimou's movie "To Live". But Wen Zhang modestly stated that he expected to learn a lot from working with director Jiang Wen.
The box office revenues for Jiang's 2010 action comedy film "Let the Bullets Fly" grossed 730 million yuan (US $111.1 million) in China, becoming the highest grossing domestic film in China's cinematic history.
