Nicky Wu was born on Oct 31, 1970, and became well-known in 1988 as a member of the successful boy band "Little Tigers Team." Wu released his debut solo album in 1992. He began his solo career as a singer and actor in 1995, right after the band broke up, and his work -- especially that of recent years -- was well-received across Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.
