Born on Sep 27, 1961, Andy Lau is a Hong Kong pop singer, actor and film producer. Together with Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai, he was referred to as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" among male singers in the 1990s. Lau has been one of Hong Kong's most commercially successful film actors since the mid-1980s, and has performed in more than 160 films while at the same time maintaining a successful singing career. His name has also entered the Guinness World Records for "Most Awards Won by a Cantopop Male Artist;" Lau had won the unprecedented total of 292 awards by Apr 2000.
