Exploring business in Africa

Eight African heads of state and more than 1,000 business leaders, politicians and policy makers from around the world gathered in Libreville, Gabon for the second edition of New York Forum Africa on June 14 to 16.
The largest pan-African business summit of its kind in the world, the event was organized by Richard Attias & Associates under the patronage of the Gabon President Ali Bongo Ondimba and in collaboration with the Government of Gabon.
Some 40 Chinese business leaders were in attendance to share their views on the opportunities and challenges facing investors in Africa. Two Chinese companies signed deals with the Gabonese government at the end of the forum.
