Yanni comes to town
Greek composer, pianist and music producer Yanni, whose full name is Yiannis Chryssomallis, will give a concert soon. Yanni, 60, has blended jazz, classical, soft rock and world music to create instrumental works and achieved international recognition by producing concerts at historic venues and having the videos broadcast on television. His concerts feature a combination of electronic music synthesized with a full symphony orchestra.

Russian baroque master
Baroque Capella group Golden Age will give a performance this weekend. The company was founded in 2002 in Moscow and has become one of Russia's most important baroque music groups. The orchestra uses instruments and techniques from the era when the music was composed. Their interpretations skillfully combine Russian and baroque styles.

American singer Bobby McFerrin will present a concert featuring his latest album Spirit You All. The 10-time Grammy Award winner is best known for his 1988 hit song Don't Worry, Be Happy. He is widely known for performing and recording regularly as an unaccompanied solo vocal artist. He has frequently collaborated with other artists, from both jazz and classical scenes.

Swiss orchestra
One of the oldest and most renowned orchestras in Switzerland, Basel Symphony Orchestra will come to Beijing, performing Mozart's Symphony No 32 in G Major, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 3 in C Minor and Stravinskyl's The Firebird, under the baton of conductor Dennis Russell Davies.
