Health documentary series to air on CCTV

A 100-episode television documentary titled "Health in China" was announced at a news conference in Beijing on September 28, 2013.
The series includes 18 episodes on cities and towns, environment, society, people and public services. Each episode, 15-20 minutes long, was shot using digital HD technology and has both a Chinese and English version.
The documentary series will air on CCTV, provincial TV stations and CNTV.
Yu Zhi, program director for the series, said it aims to portray the true status of health industry developments along with China's medical and health reforms.
The first episode, "Happy Yanling" (a town in Henan province), was shown at the conference.
