Comic Con makes big debut in Beijing

Pop culture fans and comic enthusiasts are celebrating a big get-together in Beijing.

Beijing Comic Con 2016, which gathers the latest advancements in comics, manga and pop culture, kicked off for the first time in the Chinese capital on June 9.

An enormous amount of books such as Star Wars and Star Trek novels as well as comics from Marvel and DC hit the shelves at the show floor.
