Eat better this weekend to beat the sweltering summer heat. For people who live in the north of Beijing, Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel is a place to pamper your palates on the weekends without traveling far.
The hotel's Italian restaurant, Bene, has just launched a 5-course weekend lunch menu, starting at 288 yuan ($43), inclusive of one glass of bubbly and a glass of wine.
The menu is noted for its freshness, creative presentation and selective ingredients. The grilled Boston lobster, a main course, is made from live lobster, with saffron risotto, zucchini and champagne bearnaise sauce. The classic tiramisu, the restaurant's signature dessert, is a must have, and probably what you will go back for.
If you miss the weekend lunch, the restaurant offers "All-You-Can-Eat" pizza with a drink for 98 yuan on Mondays, which may help offset your Monday blues.
