China Daily USA President Larry Lee visited Houston from June 18 to 21. During his visit, Lee attended the welcoming reception honoring Chinese Consul General Li Qiangmin, an event hosted by Rice University President David Leebron and his wife Y. Ping Sun and sponsored by East West Bank. Lee also met with Asia Society Texas Center chairman Charles Foster and CEO of Southern News Group Wea Lee; and attended a luncheon hosted by US Congressman Al Green. Lee toured a printing facility of the Houston Chronicle - a business partner of China Daily.
