China will establish a more intense interest network with Asian nations and raise Asia's position and influence in the international community in the 21st century, said an article of People's Daily (excerpts below).
The co-existence of different civilizations, cultures, institutions and development paths make Asia one of the most vigorous members of the international community. As a member of the Asian family, China has always integrated itself into the development trend of common development.
To realize the Chinese Dream, there needs to be a peaceful and stable environment. In China's diplomatic strategy, neighboring countries and regions are of primary importance.
China's cooperation with countries in Southeast Asia, East Asia and South Asia promotes the integration of the continent and provides a good platform for Asia to participate in world affairs.
As for the challenges confronting Asia, be they historical or practical, China will always regard maintaining regional stability, development momentum and progress as its prior missions. All divergences and problems should be solved through peace talks on an equal footing.
The Chinese Dream is in complete harmony with the dreams of many other Asian countries. Chinese people will work together with all Asian peoples to realize the common dream for Asia.
