Dabao Cosmestics
Established in 1999, Dabao once ranked first in sales among domestic skincare brands in China. After Johnson & Johnson, an American pharmaceutical giant, acquired the company for $337 million in July 2008, the brand soon lost its appeal and sales nosedived.
