Comment on "China urges US to stop close-in surveillance" (China Daily, Aug 23)
The United States is ordering military flights over other countries to remind the world that it is the boss and the supreme power in the world, and the world, including China, knows that.
China, wrongly perceived by the US to be a serious contender to the No 1 power position, has put up with this kind of harassment with dignity and grace. Even though China is not reacting to the US' childish pranks, it is clear that Washington is breaking the international law.
