More than 1,000 people practice qigong (Chinese breathing exercises) in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, on April 25, as the 2012 Qigong Communication and Exhibition of Thousand Villages opens. The activity, organized by the General Administration of Sports, comes days before another qigong event, to be held in Guiyang, Guizhou province, on April 27.
