China-Cuba to boost collaboration in sports

HAVANA - Cuba and China are scheduled to sign a collaboration agreement to enhance the current ties in sports Next Monday, Cuban media said Thursday.
The agreement signing is on the agenda of a visit by the Deputy Minister of the General Administration of Sports and Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee, Yang Shu'an, who arrives here Saturday.
During his visit, the Chinese deputy minister will meet Cuban Olympic Committee President Jose Ramon Fernandez, and leader of the National Sports and Recreation Institute of Cuba (INDER) Christian Jimenez.
He ends the Cuba tour on Next Tuesday.
