China's first Grand Slam singles champion Li Na will play men's world No 1 player Novak Djokovic of Serbia in a “battle of the sexes” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the China Open, on Sept 27 at the National Tennis Center.
The charity exhibition match will launch a grand celebration for the China Open's 10th birthday, featuring stars of the sport including Li, Serena Williams, Victoria Azaranka and Rafael Nadal, at the biggest WTA-ATP combined tournament during the National Day holiday.
Fans can log on to t.chinaopen.com.cn or call the 400-707-6666 hotline to buy tickets, which are priced at 198 yuan ($32) and 498 yuan.
To fulfill its commitment to social responsibility, all profits from the match will be donated to the youth tennis development program of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation through online charitable platform 51give.com.
