Argentina, the world's undisputed polo powerhouse, will return to Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club in October to defend its crown against challenges from England, Hong Kong, China, and the United States.

The Fortune Heights Super Nations Cup 2013 will take place from Oct 1-5 at the club. Hosted by the Federation of International Polo and the Chinese Equestrian Association, the 24-goal handicap tournament is one of the highest-goal international events in the world and provides a unique opportunity to observe some of the world's finest polo players in action.

In just two and a half years, Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club has captured the world's attention by hosting a range of prominent international polo events, earning itself a reputation as one of the top organizers of polo tournaments in Asia. China's largest and most prestigious polo venue, it is set amid a 89.9-hectare estate and features two standard international polo fields, extensive training facilities and stables for more than 200 horses, with polo ponies handpicked and imported from the best lines around the world.

At last year's inaugural Super Nations Cup, Argentina made a clean sweep, overcoming a talented US side 8-7 in a thrilling final, with Mike Azzaro from Team USA earning himself MVP honors for his aggressive forward play. In the subsidiary final, Hong Kong, China, overcame England 8-6.

The opening match on Oct 1 will see England take on the US, with the second semifinal on Oct 2 between Hong Kong, China, and Argentina.
