Shooters win China's 1st gold at East Asian Games

TIANJIN, China -- The Chinese shooting team claimed the country's first gold medal at the East Asian Games (EAG) by winning the men's 10m air rifle team event on Monday.
The trio of Yang Haoran, Wang Tao and Liu Zhiguo garnered 1,886.0 points for the gold.
In the individual finals, Wang Tao won the gold medal with 208.6 points, beating Yang into second place by 2.2 points. Liu took the bronze medal.
Tuesday features the women's 10m air rifle team and individual competitions.
