Seasonal delicacies
The Grand Central Hotel Shanghai and Central Hotel Shanghai are launching a spring food festival featuring a number of seasonal Chinese delicacies, notably a number of select Huiyang dishes and regional cuisine from the Tai Lake area as well as the Grand Central's signature hairy crab dishes, which is available year-round. Mother's Day delight
WH Ming Hotel Shanghai is introducing a special Mother's Day package on May 12 that includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room with an extra bed available upon request and a gourmet buffet breakfast for up to three persons. To delight mothers, welcoming carnations and cakes are offered upon check-in. Viennese debut
Michael Heinz, consul-general of Austria in Shanghai, and Gottfried Bogensperger, general manager of the Hyatt on the Bund hotel, were pleased to preside over Shanghai's first-ever Viennese ball on May 4.
