Ambassador Luo Linquan arrived in San Francisco on Dec 5 to assume his new post as the 12th Chinese consul general in San Francisco. Upon their arrival at San Francisco International Airport, Luo and his wife, Qiao Li, were greeted by local Chinese community leaders and staff of the Consulate General. Luo expressed his gratitude to the welcoming committee and sent his best wishes to the people of his consular district. "During my tenure, I will commit myself to strengthening the ties and collaborations between our two regions and contribute to the establishment of a new model of major country relations between China and the US," said Luo.
