Fuling in spotlight

Gilbert Lee, chief financial officer of Fuling Global Inc, a Chinese investment company in Pennsylvania, speaks on Monday at a panel discussion on renewed economic opportunity in the US on Monday at the 2017 SelectUSA Summit held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland.

Other panelists in the discussion include Oracle CEO Safra Catz; ABB President for Americas Greg Scheu and Ludwig Willisch, head of the Americas and President, CEO and Chairman of BMW (US) Holding Corp.

Chinese investment in acquisitions, new operations, and expansions in the US grew to $46 billion in 2016, more than three times the previous record in 2015, according to a report released in April by the Rhodium Group and the National Committee on US-China Relations.
