DAMASCUS - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will address the nation on Sunday on the latest developments in Syria and the region, the state-run SANA news agency reported Saturday.
The embattled Syrian leader has made many appearances since the crisis in Syria began in 2011, but in his speech on Sunday, the president is expected to outline his vision of a solution to the crisis, according to Lebanese newspapers.
The conflict in Syria is nearing to enter its third year as the UN said more than 60,000 have died in the 22-month conflict.
