14 killed, 33 injured in bus crash in W. Myanmar

YANGON - 14 people have been killed and 33 others injured in a bus crash in Taunggup-Naybutaung, Myanmar's western Rakhine state, local media reported Thursday.
The passenger bus Aung Thit Sar, which was bound for Thandwe from Yangon, fell into a 36-meter-deep ravine due to brake failure on Wednesday at 01:30 am (local time), said the Global Times.
The victims include six women and one child, local police were quoted as saying, adding that the injured have been brought to Taunggup Hospital for treatment.
