The Confucius Institute at the Sao Paulo State University participated in the 23rd Biennial International Book Exhibition of Sao Paulo held from August 22 to 31, one of the largest book trade in Latin America and the third largest in the world. "This is our second time to participate in the show but the books are not for sell. We hope to attract more local people to learn Chinese," said Wang Yuanyuan, the volunteer from the Confucius Institution at UNESP. Wang said many Brazilians came to ask where they can have the Chinese lessons. "Some parents brought their children here to play our games about Chinese culture," Wang said.
