To celebrate the success of Susan Lee's (third from left) election as a state senator representing District 16 in Maryland and Clarence Lam's (second from left) election as a state delegate representing District 12, Chinese communities held a party on Sunday evening at the A Plus Adult Medical Day Care Center in Rockville, Maryland. Wenzhuang Xu (first from left), a member of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, wrote celebration poems for Lee and Lam and presented them as a gift. The event was co-organized by the Union of Chinese American Professional Organizations, the Chinese Alumni Associations of Greater Washington, the Coordination Council of Chinese American Associations, the A Plus Adult Medical Day Care Center, and the Hope Chinese School.
