Artist Etian Huang, 9, from Paint Branch Montessori School in Silver Spring, Maryland, explains his work to visitors during his solo exhibit Imagine & Beyond on Oct 21. Infl uenced by his father, artist Shanye Huang, Etian has developed a style of his own, sometimes experimenting in painting with his toys. Etian had his fi rst solo exhibit when he was 5 years old and has participated in more than a dozen national and local group exhibits. More than 20 of his pieces are in public and private collections.
