Comment on "Filial piety does not need a code" (China Daily, Aug 31)
Maybe it is not practically possible to adhere to the code of conduct, but every person must make filial piety, one of the highest virtues, part of his/her life. Irrespective of what the code says, we should all try to make our parents life better.
Just like the author says: "The best way to determine whether a person is filial or not is to know what his/her parents feel about him/her." Try your best to help your parents and you will be a better human being for that.
