Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in Los Angeles recently unveiled its Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride and Super Silly Fun Land amusement park, which are based on Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's international blockbuster Despicable Me and its sequel.
The ride will take guests on a hilarious adventure of the movies, featuring show content, sight gags, special effects and original 3D digital animation.
They will not only enjoy the magical world through videos and comedic dialogue, but also visit Gru's iconic house and super-villain laboratory. The fundamental plot is that Gru is on a secret mission to create as many mischievous Minions as possible from human beings.
With 3D Minion goggles, one can swerve and bounce to pass the interesting Minion training mission. After the journey, characters will invite guests to join a post-show dance party.
Like in the movie, Super Silly Fun Land is a colorful water play area with many fountains and splash pools. In the nearby dry play zone, guests can climb, crawl, jump and slide, and the Silly Swirly Fun Ride will spin them around for a fantastic view of the land.
