Dad accidentally leaves daughter on expressway

A driver, surnamed Huang, drove on for over an hour without realizing his daughter was missing from the car. It wasn't until the 10-year-old girl managed to call him that he realized he had left her on an expressway in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, qzwb.com reported on Monday.

The family of four stopped at a rest stop on the expressway for a break on their way from Central China's Hunan province to Jinjiang, Fujian. When the whole family was sleeping, the girl went out of the sedan to use the toilet. She was surprised to find the car and her family gone when she came back.

The girl found the police and eventually contacted her dad, who said he thought the rest of the family was still sleeping when he started the car.
