I will donate money directly. When people criticized Obama for not continuing to spread the challenges which were aimed at raising awareness for the Lou Gehrig's disease, I saw few of the videos posted by previous challengers, including many celebrities', contain any substantive information about the disease, why the money is needed, or how it will be used. The ice bucket videos simply look like a show to demonstrate how attractive they were in wet T-shirts. There are more practical ways to help these needy people.
