BEIJING - Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with Lee Jae-yong, vice chairman of Samsung Group, on Friday.
Lauding Samsung's contributions to economic cooperation between China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), Liu said the two countries are mutually complementary, with immense potential for further economic, technological and cultural cooperation.
The two countries can learn from each other in social management and many other areas, she said.
China welcomes more competitive ROK enterprises to boost technological cooperation with their Chinese partners, Liu said, adding that the government will create favorable business environments for foreign enterprises operating in China.
