E China fireworks plant blast causes injuries

NANCHANG - An explosion was triggered by lightning at a fireworks plant in East China's Jiangxi province Friday afternoon, leaving an unknown number of people injured, local authorities said.
There were no immediate reports of deaths.
At the time of the explosion at about 5 p.m., more than 300 employees were working at the Jinshan fireworks plant in Linchuan district in the city of Fuzhou, the city government said.
