7 dead in SW China road accident

KUNMING - Seven people died in a road accident in Southwest China's Yunnan province on Sunday, local authorities confirmed on Monday.
The accident happened around 10 am when a truck from Panzhihua city of Southwest China's Sichuan province collided with a minivan on National Highway 108 in Yongren county of Yunnan, the county government said.
Four females and three males, who were in the minivan, died at the scene, the government said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
