Foreign enterprises will make up more than half of the exhibitors at the Third China Guizhou International Alcoholic Beverage Expo, which will open in Guiyang, Guizhou province, on Sept 9.
More than 800 foreign companies from 38 countries including France, Spain, Italy and Germany will attend, accounting for 57 percent of the more than 1,440 enterprises participating in the expo.
The expo will include an alcoholic beverage exhibition, investment meetings and a development summit of the alcoholic beverage industry. It also brings together trade talks and cultural activities, and provides well-known liquor enterprises with a good opportunity to promote their image.
Covering an area of 80,000 square meters, the expo will have 3,000 international standard exhibition booths.
It is estimated that there will be 10,000 buyers, including 30 overseas ones, during the expo, an increase of more than 60 percent from last year.
The expo is an important part of cooperation between the Ministry of Commerce and Guizhou province.
