CNR Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Company Ltd exported its first batch of 15 subway compartments to Iran on Wednesday.
Designed according to Iranian specifications, the carbon-steel compartments can cope with lines featuring extreme gradients and have special compartments for female passengers.
The train's main body, interior, and other core parts were all developed and manufactured by companies under China CNR Co Ltd, one of the country's biggest train makers.
