Chongqing bridge collapse leaves 2 missing

CHONGQING - The collapse of an under-construction bridge support in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Saturday morning has left at least two people missing and another two injured, local authorities said.
The No 4 pier of a bridge being built across the Yangtze River in Fengdu County of Chongqing collapsed and was submerged in water at about 10:30 am, according to the county government's publicity department.
Search and rescue is under way at the scene, and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
