5 buried in NW China building collapse

XINING - Five people have been buried and 16 others injured when a building collapsed Saturday afternoon in Northwest China's Qinghai province, local authorities said.
The collapse happened around 2:30 pm at a construction site in the Da Qaidam (also known as Dachaidan) district in the Mongolian-Tibetan autonomous prefecture of Haixi, according to sources with the CPC party committee of the prefecture.
Rescue work is under way. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
