Gunman makes off with watches worth 3 m yuan

A masked gunman fired two shots then hijacked a taxi to make his escape with 11 watches from a Cartier store in Beijing’s Wangfujing Street at around 7pm on Monday, the Beijing News reported.
According to the manager, the watches were collectively worth about 3,000,000 yuan ($479,019).
No casualties were reported and police are investigating.
