Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, running from Fengtai district in Beijing to Zhangjiakou city in North China's Hebei province, is famous as the first China-built railway without foreign interference.

The railway, opened to traffic in 1909, has a total length of 201.2 kilometers, running across the Juyongguan section and Badaling section of the Great Wall.
