Robert Rauschenberg: Rauschenberg in China at Beijing's Ullens Center for Contemporary Art

After his influential solo show in Beijing in 1985 that attracted more than 300,000 visitors, the late American artist was brought back to China with a large retrospective featuring his massive 305-meter-long work and a set of color photos he took on his first visit to China in 1982. Many Chinese contemporary artists, both established and emerging, came to visit the show.

Andy Warhol: Contact at M Woods Museum in Beijing

The late American pop art pioneer is well-known in China because of frequent shows featuring his silkscreen works held in the past decade and his works on China-related topics. The show at the M Woods Museum－a private institution founded by a young couple Lin Han and Lei Wanyang－was the second time that the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh held a posthumous solo show of the pop art icon in China. It displayed Warhol's interactive installations, Polaroid photos and silent films.
