Peter Andre has claimed his ex-wife Katie Price begged him for a reconciliation last year.
The former couple - who raise Harvey, nine, Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four, together - divorced in 2009 and although they recently decided to try to maintain an amicable relationship for the sake of their children, Peter says it was ruined when he refused to get back together with Katie.
He told heat magazine: "We decided to bury the hatchet and I was so happy we were talking about putting the kids first. But sadly it only lasted about a month. I don't think it can ever happen again. I can't be friends with her. It's sad that three years on, the bitterness is still there.
"She may want me back, she did 100 per cent ask me to get back together with her romantically. She wanted us to spend Christmas and New Year together but I won't ever go there. All the stories about us getting back together are not true. I won't ever go back."
Peter claims Katie is obsessed with him but says he just wants to move on with a new love and has his eye on Irish model Georgia Salpa - who appeared in the last series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
He said: "I think there is some sort of obsession with me or us and I just want to move on. For so long I wasn't ready to make a commitment but I am now. I have reached the point where I want to settle down.
"Georgia is hot. She has said some nice things about me so we will see. I met her last week when I was at a business lunch and she is a very sweet girl from first impressions."
